Rotorua, NZ, outdoor stores - Kathmandu
Kathmandu have a large store in Rotorua and they carry everything
related to camping and hiking. Tents, cooking equipment, lifestyle
equipment and I'm sure I've seen little toilets in there.
As a brand name in Australia and New Zealand, Kathmandu carry their own range of clothing designed with the cold in mind.
thing I will say about them is that they are quite expensive. We
usually wait until they have specials when items are knocked down by 50%
or more before we stock up on basic goodies.

your website is the best resource for planning a trip there that I have
encountered! It answers all of the questions you end up having after
reading other sites, and presents information in such a clear and
concise way. ... wish I'd encountered your site before printing off reams of info that will probably be whittled down to one page. ... hope the local government and tourism people realise what a great asset and ambassador they have in you! :P" Vicky Fairchild - Auckland, New Zealand
